After some quite time spent waiting anxiously for it, BeStyle new "little" brother, Rodeo Drive, is open! You can reach it following this limousine.



But what is Rodeo Drive? Let's see Elettra Gausman's sum up of RL Rodeo Drive story, on the latest issue of BeStyle Magazine:

"The Beverly Hills Shopping District, as we see it today, was developed in the 1970s. The area extending from Wilshire to Santa Monica Boulevard is also a major tourists attraction. You can find here some of the most famous retailers including Armani, Bally, Bulgari, Cartier, Chanel, Dior, DeBeers, Zegna, Fendi, Gucci, Ferrè, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Cavalli, Ferragamo, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Valentino and many others. Now you can discover the glamour of the real Rodeo Drive also in SL in-world at the new sim of Annemarie Perenti.
The Beverly Wilshire Hotel located on the east side of South Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills was built in 1928 in an Italian Reinassance acrhitectural style. Luxurious and glamorous since the beginning, The Beverly Wilshire has been the filming location for many movies, including the 1990 movie Pretty Woman and the HBO's Entourage Television Series."

Alatiel Fashion show, May 24 at 1 pm SLT

May 20, 2009 – Annemarie Perenti, owner of Best of Italian sim, is proud to announce a new Alatiel Fashion show, May 24 at 1 pm SLT (10 pm Italian Time), where six top models of BeStyle Models Agency will show you the gorgeous outfits of the Italian designer Alatiel Miles.

Alatiel in RL always dreamed about design and fashion: in SL she finally found her way to success thanks to a style that mix casual to elegance. Every outfit of Alatiel Fashion has its own history because it is never trivial and never equal to the others you can find in the metaverse.

That is particularly true for the new Summer Collection 2009, which we will show you at our stage, at Best of Italian, May 24 at 1 pm SLT (10 pm Italian Time). So mark your calendar, if you love your avatar and are a fashion victim, really you can’t miss this fantastic show, where Summer Deadlight will be our DJ too. What are you waiting for?

Maseno Project II at Best of Italian - April 23rd

Maseno Project II is a charity fashion tour organized by the famous top model Mimmi Boa that aims to help a RL orphanage in a small village just outside of Maseno in Western Kenya.

In RL the Maseno Project is called the "Nest Rescue Center" (see http://www.nestrescuecenter.org) and is a self-funded community based project. They help support destitue orphaned children, and in special cases--blind, deaf and disabled children. Can you help provide some health care for them. Last year about 400K L$ were raised, this year we have raised more than 450K L$ yet and have a lot of shows scheduled through early May.

The staff of Best of Italian want to help this worthy cause; so, please join us for the Maseno Project Show, and be generous. Wonderful "one of a kind" outfits are to be auctioned . You can help RL children of the Maseno village; while gaining an original specially designed ONE OF A KIND outfit or gown. Third Night Selections ELEGANCE SL

The Best of Italian's Elegance SL Competition Is now at its third and final day of selections on April 20th at 1:30pm SLTime (22:30 Europe). The competition has raised the standards of typical beauty pageants in SL. ELEGANCE SL is not about beauty but about your sense of styling, your taste, your concept of "Elegance" and how you apply it in different circumstances.

The theme for the third night will be "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and with a theme like that you know it will be hot! which will be very entertaining for the crowd. There are 15 contestants who are waiting to blow the lid off and show SL how true elegance, fashion sense, and poise will count heavily in this competition. Only 5 girls per each night of selections are admitted to the finals that will be held on April 24 at 1:30pm SLTime.

The judges are some of the most recognized names in SL who have excelled in each of their various fields. The Italian International Fashion Tour started

Thursday, April 16th 2009, in the beautiful land of France 3D officially started the Italian International Fashion Tour, the event from an idea of Annemarie Perenti (Best of Italian Style and Piazza Italia owner, above) that promote the italian fashion through Second Life.Agtaope Carter fashion Director of the Bestar and organizer of the shows.

Twenty italian designers present their outfits, shown on the most famous catwalks of SL by 26 international top models, a unique occasion to see the very best of italian style, so don't miss our next appointments:

- April 18th bythe japanese sim of As Know As (where there will be even the famous television SLTV to broadcast the show)
- April 22nd by the spanish sim of Barcelona Plaza Real
- April 29th by the american sim of Bogar's Jazz Club & Shop
- May 6th by the dutch sim of Modelx Dutch Beauty

ELEGANCE SL - First Night Selections

The Best of Italian's Elegance SL Competition will begin with a bang on April 13th at 1:30pm SLTime (22:30 Europe). The long awaited much buzzed about competition is set and ready to raise the standards of typical beauty pageants in SL.

The theme for the first night will be "Sex And The City," and with a theme like that you know it will be hot! There are 45 contestants who are waiting to blow the lid off and show SL how true elegance, fashion sense, and poise will count heavily in this competition. ELEGANCE SL is about your sense of styling, your taste, your concept of "Elegance" and how you apply it in different circumstances.

Elegance SL will have three days of judging contestants and one grand finale. The three days will include 15 contestants per day the dates are April 13th, 16th, and 20th each will be held at 1:30pm slt. The grand finale, where the winner is chosen, will be April 24th at 1:30pm slt. There will be an assortment of themes per each event date, which will be very entertaining for the crowd.
